AS you all know that the exams are shifting from conventional way of boring descriptive answer writing to the objective tests. So in order to get good grades it's mandatory for a student to be proficient in solving Multiple Choice Questions. You may have observed that various problems are faced by students while solving objective type questions in school exam, college exam or in any competitive exam like UPSC Civil Services Examination or SSC exams. Some major problems faced by students are:
  1. Shortage Of Time: This is most viewed problem faced by one and all. Since the patterns of question papers are such that you get 1 minute for one question and some exams you get even 30-50 seconds per question. So a person needs to be very fast in solving the questions in the exam. To be Time efficient, one needs a lot of practice of exam level questions. For this one should give time bound mock tests or try to solve previous year questions of the exam s/he is appearing for. Previous year question papers are available every where online as well as offline. While attempting mock tests or previous questions one should give 5 minutes less than the actual time of exam because this time is consumed in pressure handling and other unexpected events during actual examination. For example if you have to solve 100 questions in 90 minutes in exam, set a timer of 80 or 85 minutes on mobile phone or stopwatch in order to attempt the previous year question papers. Try to create exam like atmosphere while writing any mock test or attempting any previous year question paper. One more thing in time management is that one should not stick to difficult problems. Do the easy questions first and then if you have time, attempt the difficult questions. The order of questions is not important to examiner even in descriptive type question papers.
  2. Negative Marking: The negative marking in the competitive examinations is just headache for the students.Sometimes the question which you know goes wrong as there is so much pressure on mind of student in examination hall. So in order to avoid the marks loss via Negative Marking, one has to be careful while attempting questions. Moreover the questions which you have no idea about should be avoided at all.
  3. Inaccurate/Doubtful Concepts: This is also one of the major problems resulting in reduction of marks during the examinations. You have read the point somewhere but you are not sure whether a). is correct or b). This happens often to those students who don't revise the concepts before the examination. Revision is very necessary for getting good grades in the examinations and to avoid the doubtful answers. These questions lead to most of the negative marking in exams. Besides revision and efficiency of  studies one should be aware of cheat codes and tricks to be followed while attempting the questions. These Tricks are very important to boost your score and avoid negative marking . These tricks and cheat codes are clearly explained the the vedio below:
